Some not real common modifications are happening on this one we built 5 years ago so the client can store his camper inside. We’re removing gutters, siding, all roofing, trusses, soffit/fascia. Got custom trusses built to sit on 12 ft walls and also sit on 14’ walls. We’re adding a 16’x40’x14’ addition on to this existing 24’x32’x12’ building. Should look pretty neat when it’s finished. Addition will be enclosed on all perimeters except the front 16’ and will have a white metal ceiling installed

Finished this one up yesterday in union city. This is 24’x40’x9’ with 4 3’x4’ windows one 3’x3’ window top front gable in the attic, 2 9’x8’ doors, one 36” entry, studded for finishes later and will feature a full set of fixed stairs and a versalift elevator to get things to the upstairs easier.

From a 6,000 sq ft commercial project last week to some odds and ends this week, we’ll get it taken care of. Here’s what we spent the afternoon doing today after we did some post wrap installation on one of our other previous builds in Mckean. This was an easy demo. We chained it to the excavator, picked it out of the ground, set it down In the burn pile and went to work on re constructing. It’s not built to be a permanent fixture as it sits on concrete post pads on grade but it’s certainly a much safer entry/ exit and sitting area for the homeowners! I believe the old one was extremely unsafe with no railings and a couple of weeks away from crumbling beneath someone.

Our crews were certainly firing on all cylinders with this one! 8 days from the first hole punched in the ground here we sat by Friday at 3. Couldn’t be happier with the way that everybody pulled together to make this happen up to this point! This one’s 40’ wide 144’ long and 14’ tall. Studded out, tyvek wrap and therma-guard.

Impressive 8.5 hours today with a 9 man crew! Trusses set, Roof framing and half the roof installed with therma-guard underlayment. Tomorrow the other side will be on and we’re gonna start closing the walls up!

We were able to get all of the post notching done for the header detail, get the first inside ply installed, cut and installed all full wall studs 24” centers and got our truss stack laid out for purlin/catwalk install. We’re having some site re working completed this weekend due to some rain this week causing slightly sloppy ground conditions inside the building with our equipment operations that took place. We relocated all additional materials to the rear of the site - opening up room to have our trusses moved to a more central location Monday morning to finish our prep work necessary for the crane and a 2nd crew to move in Tuesday morning. This one is 40’x144’ with 14’ ceilings and is projected to be a fully operational Collision shop addition by September and we are very proud to be a part of making that happen!

Gregor Masonry did a great job on the fire wall phase of Eldred’s addition and tore down their set for us to start on our phase! While they buttoned things up on the wall today we moved in to start cutting all the lumber and staging it around the perimeters. Hopefully Mother Nature holds back tomorrow and we can get some framework fired up!
