Here’s the revised version:

Two beautiful exterior transformations completed in Plainfield, NJ.

This week our team finished two projects that completely changed the look, protection, and value of these homes.

Project 1:
A complete GAF roofing system installed to give the homeowner long-term protection, better curb appeal, and one of the strongest warranties in the industry.

Project 2:
A full exterior renovation featuring:
• New GAF roof installed over a complete redeck after removing the original cedar shake roof
• New siding
• New bay window
• New storm doors

The original roof was built over aging cedar shakes, so the entire roof deck had to be replaced before installing the new GAF roofing system. It’s the kind of work homeowners never see—but it’s one of the most important parts of building a roof that will last for decades.

This roof looked like a normal asphalt shingle roof from the ground. Once we started the roof replacement, we discovered an old cedar shake roof buried underneath.

This is one of the most expensive surprises homeowners can face because cedar shake roofs typically require complete removal and brand-new plywood roof decking before a new roofing system can be installed correctly.
