When Revival Brewing & Lost Valley Pizza in Providence, RI, decided to expand its brewpub, the team faced a major plumbing challenge: an existing drainage layout and exceptionally thick concrete floors that made traditional plumbing installation expensive and disruptive.
The renovation called for two new public restrooms, a handwashing sink near the pizza oven, and a fully equipped bar area. So how could they make it happen without tearing up the concrete?
The solution? SFA Saniflo’s above-floor commercial plumbing systems.
Working alongside O’Leary Plumbing & Heating and Walter F. Morris, the brewery installed three Saniflo solutions:
🚽 Sanicubic 2: A powerful duplex lifting station serving two public restrooms.

🍺 Sanicom 2: A heavy-duty duplex drain pump handling wastewater from the bar’s sinks, ice bins, and washing equipment.
The standout? Sanicom 2. Installed discreetly beneath the bar, this powerful system pumps wastewater approximately 15 feet vertically and more than 30 feet horizontally to the existing drainage line.

At PHCC CONNECT in Milwaukee, WI, the PHCC Educational Foundation’s National Apprentice Contests challenge top apprentices from across the country to demonstrate their skills, knowledge and accuracy.
🚽 Plumbing apprentices rough-in a complete bathroom, including drain, waste and vent lines, a toilet, sink and shower.
❄️ HVACR apprentices put their system knowledge and hands-on skills to the test.
Beyond the competition, these events raise awareness of local apprenticeship programs and inspire more people to explore careers in plumbing and HVACR.
