Shepherd Electrical (119 S. Walnut St. in Edmond) is seeking a reliable, dependable, and knowledgeable Oklahoma Licensed Journeyman Electrician with strong residential/ solar experience. We are a small company, been in business 3 years, and there are great opportunities for growth and advancement as we grow. Excellent opportunity for someone who wants to get into management within the next couple of years.

This is a full-time W-2 position for an experienced electrician who can show up ready to work, diagnose problems, complete quality installations, and pass inspections.

Preferred Experience:
5 years of residential electrical experience
with 5 years of residential solar experience
Experience performing residential service calls
Ability to troubleshoot common electrical issues, including finding and resolving tripped breaker and GFCI problems

Preferred: completed at least 5 MPUs / panel upgrades that passed inspection
Experience completing work that has passed inspection, especially in the OKC area

Must own the tools needed to complete the job, including: Impact, Drill, Sawzall, Flashlights and standard hand tools required for residential electrical work

Must have reliable transportation and a valid DL.

The right person for this role is someone who takes pride in their work, understands residential electrical systems, has hands-on solar experience, can handle service calls independently, and knows how to complete clean, inspection-ready work.

$40/hr – 40+ hrs/ week

One of our favorite projects we’ve completed recently. A fully custom 5,000 sq ft shop build from the ground up ⚡️

This one was designed around the owner’s vision from day one and included custom lighting, underground service, RV hookups, car lift wiring, dedicated equipment circuits, wall pack lighting, and power run throughout the entire building.

A lot of planning went into making sure everything not only worked well, but also looked clean and fit the space the right way.
