We are seeing an influx of calls with outside faucets flooding on the interior of home due to the freeze we had.

Please be mindful of using your outside faucet for the first time this season as yours could have frozen and busted. You will not know this until you turn it on.

If/when you do decide to turn it on, try to locate where the area it is located inside the home and watch this area to make sure it does not leak into your home.

If you are seeing water inside the home around this area most times you can just turn the faucet back off and it will stop.

These are Navien tankless water heaters. Although we have already been through the training courses it never hurts to get a refresher. We took a day out of the field see and learn about some new products coming.

We were called out to clean the main drain. While cleaning we felt something not right and upon bringing back the cable we found mud on the claw. I recommended for us to view the drain to see what the issue was. This is what we found. This is where the pipe goes from horizontal to vertical. The 90 degree fitting is broke due to the ground settling.

Sometimes knowing what is going on inside your drain can save you a headache later.
