Ladies and gentlemen it's that time of year again. The days are getting longer and warmer, which means it's time to get those mowers out and get them ready for the coming year. This spring I'm offering spring mower tune ups. This includes an oil change, blade sharpening, and general inspection of the mower. Rates start at $15 and vary depending on size if oil, air, fuel, or hydraulic filters are needed. I come to you so there's no worry about when and if the mower will be back in time for that first mow of the year. Lets talk about replacement windows and why i believe theyre not a great option. Now before u keyboard warriors start your crap this is my opinion.
1. They do not last as long as new construction windows.
2. When theyre put in place you will still have cold air or hot air coming in by the window. Most installers do not take off the trim to remove any of the down rigger weights that may still be in the window there fore theyre not insulating beside the windows either.
3. Theyre exactly what u pay for. If your ordering them from and major chain harware store your getting a cheap window. Some will say your not especially if u pay a pretty penny for them. But more often than not theyre cheaply made and marked up to make u think theyre good windows.
4. Most are installed incorrectly. Cant say that enough because sometimes its about getting the job done and moving on than actually doing it right.
These are my opinion on them not saying there isnt a good replacements out there but your homework needs to be done before you purchase them or have them installed

Sometimes its just a simple fix. Parts and labor is all its gonna take sometimes. This mornings job was replacing a door seal on a whirlpool dishwasher for a customer. As u can tell from the pictures the ends were the culprit of this leak. As always no job is to small, give me a call for any of your handyman needs

Finished out some windows today at Alyssa's cupcakes in sullivan. Ive never been a fan of doing trim but this one was kinda fun, a head scracher at times but none the less not too bad. Like ive posted before have saw will travel and no job is too small. And if your having a hard time getting someone to come and look or has looked and is taking forever to get to it give me a shout

Ive had people reaching out asking me about different services im willing to tackle. With that being said heres a short list of projects im comfortable taking on at the moment: garden projects, replacing doors or windows, some landscaping, mowing, leaky faucets, toilet changes and repairs, light fixture swaps, just to name a few. Im hoping that later this year i can add some of the bigger projects to the list like roofs and remodels but for now im here to take on your little projects that the others are to busy to deal with.
