Replaced a 30 gallon mobile home water heater with a 30 gallon electric. Also did a sub floor repair since the floor was saturated and rotten. Electric “tank style” vs natural gas are not much different in efficiency. All depends on where you live, some places gas cost more than electric and vice versa. If the install takes less time i can install the heater much quicker and save the homeowner hundreds of dollars.
Also “Heat Pump” water heaters are something to consider. They are by far the most efficient water heaters and come with tax incentives. If you are interested to learn more give us a call!

If anyone is wonder where we came up with the name for Shelby Plumbing. Here is your answer.
Ford Vs. Shelby is a great movie, most of the early Shelby Mustangs were designed by Carroll Shelby himself.
They design some of the most incredible looking and performing cars ever made. 🤷🏻‍♂️ This is not my car, but maybe someday I will have one. 😄

Oh Yeah! We repair and replace water heaters too! 😃
This customer was not interested in upgrading the water at the moment so we gave them the option to solve the issue in the least invasive way possible. Most water heaters are equipped with a heat trap on the hot side which is just a little rubber tab that can easily restrict the flow over time. If you are losing hot water pressure. This could potentially be your issue. If the heater is past warranty sometimes it is better to just replace but that is not the only option. Will the water heater work without the rubber heat trap, absolutely! Better flow and a happy customer!

Recent Gas line install for a remodeled home currently under construction. Had to bring the line over far enough to get it into the attic since there was no attic where the main entered the home. Some of the pipe was under the floor. It is a slab home. There is a big addition on this home so the line was upsized from 1”to 1-1/4” to accommodate the extra distance, a gas stove, tankless water heater and furnace. If you aren’t sure on gas sizing or needing to add a fixture. We can make it happen.
*I did not install any of the other plumbing in this home.

Handy Andy strikes again. Eliminated a couple improper pressure fittings from a kitchen drain. Augured the drain and got it flowing after putting in a new clean out.
