SIUE’s Construction Networking Night was a success!

Thank you to everyone who donated to the SIUE Cougar Cupboard! The Cougar Cupboard is a non-profit food pantry located on campus that serves students in need. Due to the generosity of those who donated, we were able to buy not one, but TWO shelves for the Cougar Cupboard!! We are extremely grateful for the continuing support that those in our community provide.

Another beautiful Saturday morning spent back at the Katherine Dunham home! Our Construction students along with some of SIUE’s Sociology students came out and did some more cleaning out of these homes, along with pumping the water out of the basement! These finishing touches are getting these homes ready to be revitalized. We can’t wait to see how the renovations go!

A big thanks to all of our SIUE Construction students for their efforts today at the Katherine Dunham Home! We made some amazing progress today on the cleanup of these 3 houses and the surrounding area. We appreciate everyone who came out this Saturday to volunteer!

The SIUE Constructors club is hosting the annual 5K on April 27th. This year we will be out by Korte Stadium. Please feel free to contact Brittney Koter (details in the flyer) if you plan to come join us and run!
