Here are some of the completed photos from the new Proto-Tykes building located in Sullivan, IL! This project replaced the existing AgriFab daycare.

This new and improved daycare is complete with a full kitchen, laundry room, covered canopy, and plenty of multi-purpose rooms for group activities. Proto-Tykes can accommodate up to 160 children at a time!

UAA assisted Dan Hecht Chevrolet-Toyota and general contractors in designing and constructing a new modern interior for their customers. Featuring bright open spaces accented by warm wood tones, the space now feels airy and welcoming for business patrons.

Thorough space planning studies completed by UAA revealed the interior was in desperate need of more employee workstations. Grouping these workstations in a central but private area minimized space usage on the interior of the building.

Site and building orientation are essential considerations in any design project. 🔆🔆🔆For this predominantly south-facing site, maximizing natural light became a central focus in the design process.

As a result, the Utz and Associates Architects office includes:

- Low-E glazed windows to reduce heat gain
- Solar panels for maximum energy efficiency
- Louvered shade structures to reduce solar glare

Every facility possesses distinct characteristics that cater to the specific site and local building regulations, while also showcasing a modern and inviting exterior paired with a contemporary and efficient interior!

Located in Mattoon, Illinois, this facility features remarkable athletic courts and incorporates community amenities like the Sarah Bush Lincoln Mattoon Walk-In Clinic, a café, and an arcade. Inside, strategically placed viewing platforms provide spectators with clear, unobstructed views of the action on the courts!
