Yesterday, Milam Construction employees gathered to celebrate Mr. John in honor of his birthday. We miss his wisdom, humor and kindness. We strive to try to live up to his expectations everyday!

We are grieving the loss of Jeff Nelson this week, legendary crane operator for over 50 years at Milam Construction. Jeff went out of his way to share his knowledge and love of cranes. He will be greatly missed. Our prayers go out to his family.

Today we honor the memory of John on the anniversary of his passing. Sept. 10, 1941 - Jan. 10, 2024. All of us at Milam Construction feel blessed to have had our lives so positively impacted by him. This has been a difficult year and we are grateful to the family, our vendors and our customers for working with us through the transition to reach our new heightened level of stability. Rest in peace John.
