Today, we celebrated a special milestone, the topping out of Canutillo Middle School! 🏗️🎉

Behind every beam are hardworking men and women whose skill, dedication, and commitment brought us to this moment. Today was about celebrating them and the teamwork that makes progress like this possible.

Thank you to Canutillo ISD for entrusting us with this project, to DLR Group and Root Architects for their vision and collaboration, and to our Banes CMS Project team and all our trade partners for their tireless efforts.

A special shoutout to Basden Steel and Deem Structural Services for their outstanding work bringing this structure to life!

We’re proud to help build a place where Canutillo’s students will learn, grow, and shape the future. Thank you to everyone who helped us reach this milestone!

Last week, we celebrated the ribbon cutting of FirstLight Federal Credit Union’s new headquarters. Banes General Contractors is proud to have helped bring this vision to life alongside FirstLight FCU, Mijares-Mora Architects, and the entire project team.

Banes General Contractors is proud to officially break ground on the new El Paso County Office of the Medical Examiner.

This new 26,000 square foot, purpose built facility will nearly double the size of the County’s existing office, providing expanded space to support critical forensic and investigative services for our community.

We sincerely thank El Paso County for the opportunity and trust to deliver this important project. We’re also proud to partner with MNK Architects and look forward to bringing their vision to life.

Another exciting project underway for our community , we can’t wait to see it take shape!

🏈 Two stadiums. More than 30 years apart. Part of an 80-year Banes legacy.

As football season kicks off, we’re proud to celebrate two beautiful facilities Banes had the privilege of building for Socorro Independent School District.

In 1992, Banes completed Student Activities Complex I (SAC I). With seating for 11,000 fans, this community landmark has brought generations together for Friday night lights, spirited performances, and unforgettable moments.

Thirty-two years later, we were honored to continue that legacy with SAC II, which opened in 2024. This state-of-the-art complex features a synthetic turf field, a high-tech video board, spacious locker rooms, and dedicated fine arts spaces creating opportunities for students to shine on and off the field.

These projects hold a special place in Banes’ 80 year history of building for our community. We’re grateful to SISD for trusting us to help create places where school pride grows and lifelong memories are made.

To all the coaches, student-athletes, cheer teams, marching bands, and fans: we wish you a safe, exciting, and successful season. Let’s make more memories under the lights! 🏈

Progress is moving full speed ahead at the Canutillo Middle School project! Steel er****on is officially underway, and we’re excited to see the new campus begin taking shape. Banes General Contractors is proud to help build a modern learning environment that will serve Canutillo students, educators, and the community for years to come.
