Although trees are a lovely addition to your property, you need to be careful – leaning branches can reach out toward your roof and cause significant damage.

If you see any branches trying to cop a feel on your house, best to get those trimmed before it's too late.

The obvious indicators are things like missing shingles, leaks, or small animals finding their way into your attic.

But there are a few more subtle clues that, when spotted early, can save you lots of time and money on more serious repairs down the road.

This would include curling shingles, damaged flashing, discolored ceilings and ice dams.
