Day two, pump set, 15000 gallon cistern site being excavated and site prepped for well pit, and gravel delivery tomorrow morning! We even got some much needed rain to help with the hotspots on the other side of the hill… ❤️

Today we had the honor of starting a major job. Unfortunately it was in the Penley fires back yard. Which is exactly why we do what we do. Of three wells only one was operational when this fire broke out.

Today we figured out and fixed the reason for well two in the Dawson aquifer, being down and now have water filling the windmill tower. We also dug the well pit and readied the site for well pit delivery and to set the pump tomorrow into well number 3.

Tomorrow we will begin the 45’ x 10’ x 10’ hole for a 15,000 gallon cistern to supply the barn, pavilion, pond, fire systems and irrigation. Once the well pit is delivered and pump is set in the new well number 3, into the Denver aquifer, we will install roughly 600’ of piping and wiring to the cistern location, and variable speed pump controls to match well production to cistern, and a variable speed constant PSI booster pump to provide constant pressure to the systems attached. The police and fire stopped periodically to say hi and check on us and they used this customers driveway to access portions of the fire. By 3 pm it was 75% contained. Once we’re done this customer will have a “little” peace of mind during these scary times.

After fixing the v***r barrier in this basement a full well pump replacement, new pressure tank, chem injection into mixing tank for 20 min contact time, into a carbon backwash tank into an impression series water softener. This system has a life expectancy of 20-25 years and no maintenance is required other than filling the salt once every few months and refilling the h202 once every 2-3 years! Systems made to last, and bottle quality water in every tap…. ❤️ 💦

Just a fun 1700 gallon cistern system using VFD constant pressure pump system from a 1963 well in Denver. With watering restrictions and water uncertainty this customer decided to set himself up a second source of water other than “city” supply. This VFD matches well yield into a 1700 gallon cistern and is boosted out into the well pit, housing the controls and pressure tank, then to the sprinkler system and pond. State law does not allow cross mingling of city and well water into home however this very much is a legal and very smart way to ensure you have a backup plan and a little leeway in how you use your water, and when.
