We are now open seven days a week! Whether for walk-ins or mobile service, you can call us any day. Normal service is 8a to 6p, but we're available for emergency service after hours at additional cost.

I've been neglecting this page, sorry about that. Here's the first step towards fixing that.

First off, my cousin and closest friend Zachary has joined me at LockPro! He has taken over the majority of the automotive work and is running backup for residential work. He joined a couple of months ago and is already doing great.

Second, we will be CLOSED Friday Dec. 22 until Tuesday Dec. 26, and I am taking next week off, so only Zach will be around until January 1st. If you need any residential or especially commercial work done before the end of the year, now's the time to do it!

Finally, thank you all for a wonderful first year since taking over for Jon Payne. (Gosh, has it really been a year already?) I appreciate every one of my clients and hope to see you again.

I apologize to anyone who tried to reach me via text over the past two weeks. I was unable to send or receive texts because Ringcentral was acting up and I only just now finally got it fixed again after some half a dozen calls to tech support.

My dad (on the far left), who was my boss and mentor until I took over LockPro, came by the shop today with his Honda Element friends on their way to Tail of the Dragon. Took the opportunity to snag a little photo op.

Sorry about closing the shop without warning this past thursday and friday. I had to abruptly leave town on wednesday due to a death in the family: my father-in-law unfortunately lost the war against cancer.

I'll catch up with all the missed voicemails monday morning. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Also, a friendly reminder that in-shop jobs are best handled by appointment, rather than just swinging by whenever.

You are of course welcome to swing by and check if I happen to be there, and I'll certainly help you if I am, but I'm usually out on the road so you're much better off just calling and setting an appointment to meet up.

The shop's hours recently changed from 9-5 weekdays (standard business hours) to 8am - 6pm weekdays except wednesday (a "four tens" schedule). I have two reasons for this change:

First, anyone else who works standard business hours is now able to schedule an appointment for just before or just after their shift, instead of trying to find time during lunch or taking a day off.

Second, it allows me a weekday to do things at other places that are only open during standard business hours.

I had also considered 7am to 5pm, or 9am to 7pm instead, and I considered taking mondays or fridays off instead of wednesdays. Let me know in the comments if you think I should choose a different day or a different set of hours instead.

We hear this almost every day. The flip keys and remote head keys supplied by the car makers just don't hold up under heavy use. The worst are Honda, followed by Chevrolet & Ford.
