When the summer heat hits and your AC decides to take a vacation too 😅 here are a few simple ways to stay cool and comfortable until your system can be checked and repaired:

☀️ **Keep the Heat Out**

* Close blinds and curtains, especially on sunny windows
* Avoid using the oven or stove during the hottest part of the day
* Turn off lights and electronics you aren’t using

🌀 **Get Air Moving**

* Use ceiling fans counterclockwise to push cool air down
* Place a bowl of ice in front of a fan for a quick DIY cooling effect
* Keep interior doors open to help airflow move through the house

💧 **Stay Hydrated**

* Drink plenty of water throughout the day
* Avoid too much caffeine or alcohol since they can dehydrate you
* Cold washcloths on your neck or wrists can help cool you down fast

🌙 **Cool Down at Night**
