Built these decks for one of our repeat customers. Tore down the old rotted decks that were causing water damage to their home because they were not flashed at all. We replaced them with all cedar tone 6x6 post decks and flashed correctly to ensure no more water damage like the previous decks. We also had to jack up the 2nd story under the garage so we could take out the rotted out header above the garage door and replace it. We did this sunroom for one of our amazing customers. Tore out the old rotted sunroom but saved the roof because she just had a new roof put on. Rebuilt and extended the frame 6' and kept the height by installing a flat roof to the extension. House is from the 1940s so we kept the older style look on the inside but with a whole new look. Tore out the old rotted dangerous deck first. Customer wanted just a basic deck put back in its place. Old deck was screwed straight through the siding. We cut the siding to where it needed to be, installed deck flashing and vinyl j channel to keep the water from leaking in or rotting out the rim joist. Another happy customer.
