Not all septic systems are created equal!

If your property has an Advanced Treatment Unit (ATU), regular maintenance isn't just recommended — it's a requirement under New Mexico regulations!

⚠️ HERE'S WHAT ATU OWNERS NEED TO KNOW:

💧 Advanced treatment systems must be maintained and monitored at least every 6 months, or more frequently if required by the manufacturer.

📋 Qualifying systems must have an active, NMED-approved maintenance contract, along with required sampling arrangements.

🔍 Maintenance includes checking important operating conditions to ensure the system is treating wastewater properly.

🚨 Skipping required maintenance or allowing your contract to expire can put you out of compliance with state regulations!

And here's the thing… some homeowners don't even realize their property has an ATU or that ongoing maintenance is required!

This Halloween, we’re all for haunted houses—as long as the bathroom isn’t what’s haunting you.

Pumpkins on the porch? Festive.
Strange noises from the drains? Less festive.
Something creeping back up through the toilet? That’s enough Halloween for one night. 😱

We had a great time being part of this year’s fair and want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who made it happen!

From providing the porta-potties and our booth to showing up and supporting the kids at the Junior Livestock Sale, we’re proud to be involved in an event that brings our community together!

There’s nothing better than seeing our community show up for our local kids and their hard work. ❤️
