You should have your water heater serviced at least once per year. The most important part of water heater maintenance is flushing the tank. If you don’t flush it, sediment will build up inside your water heater’s tank. At first this will cause your water heater to work harder and run less efficiently, meaning you will pay more in utility bills. Eventually, sediment buildup can cause loss of water pressure or corrosion that leads to holes in your tank. Once your tank is leaking from holes caused by corrosion, you will have no choice but to replace your water heater.

Plumbers protect the health of the nation!

Water authorities and governments are in discussions with scientists and companies about tracking the pandemic through the detection of viruses in the sewer. Wastewater monitoring could provide early warnings of outbreaks. It could potentially give governments some of the data they need about when to end lockdowns and when to ratchet them back up.

Wastewater could provide early, painless and localized data about the rise or fall of coronavirus levels.

Each of our plumbers is trained in the OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1926, Safety and Health Regulations for Construction. These regulations have taught our employees how do deal with pathogens every day.

We are taking careful precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Our plumbers will maintain proper social distancing while in your home, and may ask you to remain in another room while servicing your plumbing. We have told our staff to stay home if they are sick and practice proper hand-washing and social distancing norms laid out by the Centers for Disease Control. Our plumbers also are equipped with proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including a full respirator mask, face shield, nitrile gloves, and safety glasses. If you would like your plumber to wear this full PPE equipment, please let them know immediately before entry into your home.
