We also specialize in excavation and dirt work, such as barn pads, foundations, water/utility trenching, and driveways. Mathews Excavating & Septic was founded in 2018 in Kiowa, Colorado. We are committed to providing our customers the best possible experience. We are from Elbert County, and treat every customer like a friend we might run into at the local grocery store or gas station (because it

is almost inevitable that we will!). Our goal is to create a network of customers in the Elbert County and Tri-County areas that can count on us for any dirt or septic project that arises. Mathews Excavating & Septic is a fully insured and licensed company. We are NAWT (National Association of Wastewater Technicians) certified installers in Elbert, Tri-County (Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas), and Jefferson counties. Septic Systems:

This, my friends, is the worst case scenario for your leach field. The ground can only take so much “water” before it has nowhere to go but up. If you see water on the surface of your leach field, it’s possible this is what it looks like underneath.
Let’s just say this was a bad day for the only guy on our team who had muck boots in his truck.
