It’s no secret we love our team, and Shayden is a big reason why we enjoy going to work each day. After high school, “Shay” came to Hill’s Septic Service ready to learn, quick to jump in, and always willing to ask questions. He takes his time with customers, asks the right questions, then makes informed decisions that show in his work. On the equipment, he impresses us daily with his skill and consistency, and he’s the kind of team player who steps in, helps others, and does his part without hesitation. Which has made him one of our strongest go to guys. Beyond the job, we’re proud of how much Shay cares about his family. He shares how thankful he is for the people in his life who support him, and you can see the values he was raised with through his work ethic and character. We’re grateful to have Shay on our team and excited to see him keep growing, learning, and taking these skills into his future.

Working with family is one of the biggest challenges you’ll ever face, but it can also be one of the most rewarding choices you make. Three years before Darrell’s illness, he and Brian decided to build their work together—and those were some of the best years. Seeing each other every day, relying on each other, and knowing you’ll go the extra mile with the person beside you is a rare kind of bond. Darrell brought a deep knowledge of running equipment in places others wouldn’t even dare to, and his pride in Hill’s Septic came from knowing his brother had put so much of himself into the business. We’re thankful for the years he worked with us. We’ll carry the memories in our hearts forever, and we honor his memory this month as it has now been two years this month, we found out about his diagnosis.

As a small family-owned business, we know the person who takes care of everyone else is the one often left with the least recognition. Today we celebrate Brian, who started Hill’s Septic Service nearly 10 years ago with drive, determination, and one pump truck—working from daylight until dark, sometimes 15+ hours a day, just to build something dependable. What began with grit and long days has grown into a team, four pump trucks, and a community that trusts we’ll always do our best with fairness and honesty. Brian has always said that with a crew, he doesn’t need to work only for himself—he wants to make sure his guys have steady work so they can care for their families. Happy Birthday to the man who works so hard for everyone else. Brian loves his friends, family, riding side by sides, taking a good cruise, and great food, and his biggest blessing is his only grandson, bringing him endless joy and laughs. If you see Brian today, please wish him a happy birthday.

We went out to dinner last night and made a point to support a small business as we walked through our town. It was so nice to see neighbors socializing and showing up for each other’s businesses and dreams. Living in a smaller town means we actually look out for one another. Thank you to everyone who has supported Hill’s Septic Service. Without you, we wouldn’t be where we are today. We look forwarding to serving our community for years to come.

Having and running a small business. It is always an adventure! One thing that makes your work day is who you work with and beside. We want to recognize one of our hard working guys. Rylan Bennett came to us with a great attitude and a willingness to learn. He is up for a challenge and loves to learn. Rylan impresses us everyday with how he takes care of our customers. He takes time to listen and understand what our customers need. He does not let obstacles stop him ! He finds a way and isn't afraid of hard work! He has learned so much and will be able to carry this knowledge with him. We appreciate you Rylan and we love watching you grow!
