Mrs. Celestine Cromartie, 72, of 83 Sandpit Rd. Elizabethtown, NC died May 7, 2020 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.


The family will receive friends at the home.

Survivors- one daughter, Leigh Cromartie of Elizabethtown, NC, three sons, Lorenzo Cromartie of Atlanta, Ga, Lazaris Cromartie of Seattle, Wa and Lawrence Cromartie of Elizabethtown, NC, three sisters, Essie Jones and Jearline Falkner both of Chicago, Illinois and Willie Cromartie of Southport, NC, three brothers, Willie Lee Falkner of Holly Springs, Ms, John Falkner of Memphis, Tn and Quinton Grimes of St. Louis, Mo, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.


Funeral Service for immediate family and invited guests will be Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 1pm with no more than (50) people at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Pastor Arlisha Rhoda.


Viewing- Tuesday, May 12, 2020 2pm-6pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.

Mrs. Annetta (Willis) Wright, 66, of 113 Mt. Olive Rd., died Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Cape Fear Valley- Bladen Healthcare in Elizabethtown, NC.
Survivors- her husband, Artis Wright of the home, three daughters, Aggie Rhodes of Maryland, Alecia Lynch of Hope Mills, NC and Tosha Edward of Maryland, two sisters, Annie Willis of Maryland and Alice McKoy of Clarkton, NC, four brothers, Andy Willis of California, Anthony Willis of Maryland, Arthur Willis of Elizabethtown, NC and Avery Willis of Durham, NC and 5 grandchildren.

Funeral service for immediate family and invited guests will be Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 11am with no more than (50) people at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St. Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Haywood Oliver.

Burial- Mt. Olive Cemetery, Elizabethtown, NC

Due to the current Governor's Executive Order and CDC guidelines concerning COVID-19, we are limiting on-site public gatherings to 50 people, including staff. We are suggesting private on-site visitations and funerals and graveside services. We ask that when you enter for a visitation or viewing, give your condolences to the family and exit expeditiously to keep the occupancy at or below the restriction limit of 10. On-site funerals will be limited to 50 people including staff. Live streaming will be permitted upon approval of the family. We are focused on continuing to serve our families with compassion and care during this difficult time. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
