We are in the final stages of completing the Delta Skyclub at Terminal 5 O‘Hare International Airport. The whole team of men and women knocked it out of the park on this one. Job well done to all involved on the project. We are humbled to have been part of this build out!

We want to give a shout out to our very own Jim Palm of Hartmann Electric Company, Inc. He has been a major asset for our company, our industry and our country.

Jim Palm is a combat veteran of the vietnam war and is being formally recognized by the Chicago Cubs tomorrow(9/7/22) during their game against Cincinnati @ 6:40pm. In addition to his service for our country, Jim has been active in the electrical industry for 50+ years and is a 2x cancer survivor - (his cancer was found to be attributable to agent orange exposure).

Please tune in and show your support as he is recognized during the game tomorrow while accompanied by his kids, Eric & Emily. For those able to watch, he is supposed to be honored at some point around the 2nd inning and it should be televised.

We have recently begun construction at Terminal 5 on what will be Delta’s largest skyclub in the world. We are proud to be entrusted with this complex job with an accelerated schedule. More progress pictures to come in the weeks and months ahead as construction progresses.

It’s been a long time since we’ve gotten together to do something fun with covid as a clear and present danger, but this was a great change of pace to bring us together to sneak out of the office for a fun afternoon round of golf.

One of our own(Andy Hoellerich) even created a challenge for the groups that resulted in him donating $1,200 to the ‘Love Does’ charity based on the scores put up with each foursome ending up below par. We did get extra carts and social distance as much as possible to remain safe and act responsibly.

Look who some of our men ran into while at O’Hare yesterday. When Mitch Trubisky needs electrical work done, he only counts on Hartmann Electric to get the job done.

Actually, that’s not an accurate statement, but we are here for him and the rest of the team if/when they ever need electrical work done.

William Hartmann made news in the Electrical Contractor magazine(December 2018 Issue) when they discovered a recent effort done to send out company cards featuring a painting from William Hartmann Sr. depicting his return home from Europe in WWII. We were excited to organize this summer picnic to close out the summer with some time to have fun with friends and family before the weather turned! We were grateful for all that carved time out of their busy schedules to attend and make it a success.
