Planting flowers sometimes feels a lot like pregnancy.
You spend months preparing—collecting seeds, planting tiny seedlings, watering, weeding, protecting them from the weather, and wondering if all your hard work will be worth it. Some days feel long. Some days feel exhausting. Sometimes it feels like forever before you see any results.
But then the first flower blooms.
And somehow, all the tiredness fades for a moment.
It’s a little like holding a newborn baby after months of waiting. Suddenly, the hard days make sense. The joy is bigger than the struggle.
Of course, the work doesn’t stop there. Just like children, flowers still need care, attention, and patience as they grow. There are always more weeds to pull, more plants to water, and more worries along the way.
But every bloom brings a new kind of happiness.
Each one feels special. Each one feels worth the wait.
So yes… these are my baby girls. 🌸
