John and the 85 team plan to race with the Wissota Challenge Series July 3rd-4th at the Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, WI. The speedway has set up a website to help drivers cover their draw fees for the weekend, if interested in helping Team 85 this weekend the deadline is at 4pm today!! Click the link and add John Kaanta at the bottom of the list of Late Model drivers (he is not on the current list). We appreciate any interest!

We are just John Kaanta (𝟖𝟓) days away from the 53rd Annual Season Opener!

Hailing from Elk Mound, Wisconsin, “The Sheriff” John Kaanta made eight starts at Red Cedar Speedway during the 2025 season, recording top-10 finishes in the WISSOTA Late Model division in all but one appearance. Kaanta also claimed second place in the 2025 T.L. Sinz Plumbing, Inc WISSOTA Late Model track points standings and is a multi-time P***y Manor Challenge of Champions winner, capturing Late Model titles in 2002, 2006, and 2008.
