This was a "remodel" of a three car garage that we wired during a new home build a few years ago. Previously, the ceilings and walls were white and just a simple garage. They painted the walls gray and ceiling black. The added the bank of storage lockers. We changed the six wrapped LED strip lights to these fixtures, routed power for the new jackshaft door opener that replaced the old overhead door opener, which made room for this storage lift we wired so that they could store a sports car over their daily driver.

Because of the color of the walls and ceiling, I was very skeptical about the amount of perceived viewed lumens that would be seen from the lack of reflective lighting. Surprising to me, these illuminated quite well and probably produced more light output than the previous fixtures.

William "Paco" Hawkins is an impressionist artist that paints primarily American Southwest landscapes. His art has also been used on two album covers, one was Bob Dylan and right now I can't remember the other major rock music artist. He also has a painting hanging in the Grand Canyon Museum in Arizona. Wonderful work!

This rumor is not true at all. Generally, I still do. I am becoming more modern with my cordless roto-zip, vacuum and a small sawzall for special cuts. Otherwise, corded drills and saws, and I prefer to cut my conduits with a hacksaw with a dull blade. I have used a cordless drill since my lowly days of being an apprentice for devices and such, it was just easier than a hand tool.

Today, I'm hanging what I am calling an Erector Set fixture. Once the first one was up, I figured out the method to hang them. I figured this fixture was a gimmick but it really puts out the lumens! I wonder how bright it would be if the ceiling and floor were not black and the walls weren't gray.

Now, onto the third and last fixture.
