Backyard Pools will be closed Saturday, September 5, and Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day.

We will reopen on Tuesday, September 8, with our new seasonal hours:

Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Saturdays: 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

🍂🏊 POOL CLOSING SEASON IS ALMOST HERE!

August is still for swimming! ☀️ But before you get too busy enjoying these last few weeks of summer, take a minute to get your pool closing scheduled.

📅 OUR CLOSING DATES ARE ALREADY BOOKING UP!

September will be here before we know it — and so will those closing appointments!

⚠️ Don’t wait until the last minute to get on the schedule. The date you want may already be taken!

⛈️ CLOSING EARLY TODAY DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER ⛈️

Due to the strong storms and severe weather moving into our area, Backyard Pools will be closing early today.

The safety of our team will always come first. Unfortunately, we do not have a safe place to shelter at the store in the event of a tornado or severe weather, so we want to give our employees plenty of time to get home safely to their families and somewhere they can properly shelter before the worst of the weather arrives.

We truly appreciate everyone’s understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Most importantly, we hope all of our customers, employees, friends, and families stay safe today. Please stay weather-aware and take these storms seriously. ❤️⛈️

If you know me, you know how much I love Zimmy’s. ❤️

I grew up there. Some of my favorite childhood memories happened around those tables. As I got older, it became the place I’d take friends and family when they came to town, where Donald and I would stop after the lake or skiing, and where we’d end up after baseball games with the kids.

Now my own babies have grown up there too. The waitresses know them, they know exactly what they want to order, and we’ve celebrated so many ordinary moments there that turned into some of our favorite memories. Zimmy’s has never just been a restaurant to us, it has always felt like home.

Seeing everything they’ve been through has honestly broken my heart. Then hearing that Saturday was so slow because of the weather just didn’t sit right with me. They deserve so much better than that.

So tomorrow, Backyard Pools wants to do a small part to help.

10% of all sales tomorrow will be donated to Zimmy’s Tavern and their staff as they continue to recover and rebuild.

If you need chemicals, supplies, toys, or were planning to stop by anyway, we’d be so grateful if you came in tomorrow. Together, we can help support a place that has given so many of us years of memories, laughter, and comfort.

💙 Supporting Our Friends at Zimmy’s Tavern 💙

Like so many in our community, we were heartbroken to hear about the fire at Zimmy’s Tavern. It’s a place that has meant so much to so many families over the years.

Tomorrow only, Backyard Pools will donate 10% of all proceeds to help support Zimmy’s Tavern and their employees as they begin the journey of rebuilding.

If you’ve been thinking about stopping in for pool chemicals, supplies, toys, floats, or anything else, tomorrow is a great day to do it. Every purchase will help make a difference.

💙 Big Congratulations to Adam & His Family! 💙

We have some exciting news to share! At the beginning of the month, our very own Adam and his wife welcomed their first baby, a handsome little boy named Everest! 👶💙

We know so many of our customers have gotten to know and love Adam over the years. If you see him out on a service call or stop by the store, be sure to tell him “Congratulations, Dad!” 🎉

Congratulations to Adam, Kailyn, and sweet baby Everest! We are so happy for your growing family and can’t wait to watch this new adventure unfold. 💙💦
