At the end of this school year, my wife, Jill, received a handwritten card from one of her second-grade students from last year. The student took the time to write and personally deliver it, and the message was pretty special:

"There is a reason why your husband works at Stebnitz Builders. He isn't the only one building because you helped build my mind in 2nd grade!"

We understand the pride that comes from building something that lasts. But teachers like Jill are building something even more important—confidence, character, knowledge, and futures. Our community is a better place because of you!

As another school year comes to a close, we want to wish all our teachers a well-deserved summer break. Thank you for your dedication, patience, and the countless ways you invest in the lives of your students every day. Enjoy the opportunity to rest, recharge, and celebrate the difference you've made.

Travelling Tailgate May 2026

One of our favorite summer traditions at Stebnitz Builders is our Travelling Tailgate. Once a month, we hit the road and bring lunch out to our job sites as a small way to thank our hardworking carpenter crews for everything they do.

Yesterday, we treated the guys to Jimmy John's subs and Gatorades while they were hard at work in the summer heat.

We're grateful for the dedication, craftsmanship, and teamwork our crews bring to every project. The Travelling Tailgate is just one way we show our appreciation for the people who help make Stebnitz Builders what it is.

When he’s not on the job site, you’ll probably find him hunting, fishing, or working outdoors at his family’s property in Michigan.
