With Colder Weather Forecasted Here Are A Few Tips To Keep Warm And Pipes From Freezing

-Keep garage shut when living space above (2 Story / 1.5 Story)
-Keep blinds / curtains closed to keep heat in
-Open vanity cabinet if near outside wall to help circulate warm air to prevent pipes from freezing
-If pipe freezes shut main water off to house, you can slowly thaw pipe with space heater or hair dryer before turning water back on to house to check for leaks
-Reverse ceiling fans so they rotate clockwise to pull warm air from the ceiling level down to help warm the room
-Replace furnace filter to insure better system efficiency
-Avoid repeatedly opening/closing exterior doors
-Remember to check furnace exhaust on outside of house to prevent ice build-up
-Help to heat your home with some cooking or baking!!
