String algae is very common this time of year because pond plants such as water lilies have not fully blossomed yet. When these plants are fully sprouted, they decrease the nutrient levels inside the water, keeping string algae populations at bay.

Spring 2023 koi pond cleaning for a pond we built three years ago in Baltimore, Md. When we were relocating the fish to their holding tank we were surprised to find new baby koi in the pond. The two babies were swimming alongside two adult koi with similar colors so we assumed that they were their parents.

Transformation complete in Upper Malboro, Md! Our client had built this pond himself 20 years ago and wanted our team to renovate it. With the addition of a Aquascape skimmer he will no longer have to worry about leaves accumulating inside the pond or the pump clogging up. We hope this pond brings joy to their family for many years to come!
