Most people don’t think about grading… until water starts going where it shouldn’t.

Up here in North Georgia, the land looks beautiful, but it can be tricky. Slopes, red clay, drainage issues… if the groundwork isn’t done right, it shows up later (and usually costs more to fix).

Local grading & excavation company looking for a high-level operator who can step onto a jobsite and keep things moving with minimal supervision. This is not a training position.

Responsibilities:
• Land clearing & tree removal
• Driveway and road construction
• Site prep & house pads
• Retaining wall installation
• Finish grading & drainage
• Jobsite leadership and coordination

Equipment:
Excavator, Skid Steer, and Dozer.

Requirements:
• 7+ years equipment experience
• Ability to run jobs from clearing through finish grading
• Understand proper grading, drainage, and crowns
• Reliable transportation

Helpful Bonuses (not required):
• CDL A
• Dump truck experience

It’s Friday in North Georgia, and if you’ve ever tried to build on this red clay, you already know… this ground doesn’t play around.

We had a property that looked “build ready” to the naked eye. But once we cut into it, we found soft spots and water wanting to run straight toward where the house pad was planned. That’s the stuff that turns into cracked driveways and foundation problems later, if it’s not handled right the first time.

So we stripped it back.
Cut it right.
Built it back the right way.
