Happy to be on hand to celebrate with my friend Raj Kalra, CEO of Kalra Enterprises and the proud new owner of Western New York's newest Tim Hortons Café.

Located at the Harlem Road and Cleveland Drive circle in Cheektowaga, Raj's newest Tim Hortons is quietly introducing itself to the community ahead of an official Grand Opening celebration, which is currently being planned.

Celebrating with Friends
Early in my career, a customer once told me,
“You know, Vince, I totally forgot you’re my sales representative. I guess I think of you as my friend first.”

At the time, I didn’t realize how much that comment would shape the way I approach business relationships. To this day, I still believe the best partnerships are built on trust, respect and genuine friendship.

Recently, my friends Dennis and Ilio DiPaolo invited me to sit down with them, along with their longtime pal, Kevin LoVullo of Spiel the Wine , to talk about family, friendship and business. What an honor. And what a fun experience.

The DiPaolo family business has played an important role in my life, both personally and professionally. I was happy to share my thoughts on what the DiPaolo family business has meant to me, to our company and to business development throughout Western New York.

Perhaps I’ll see you there. And who knows, maybe we can even do a little business while enjoying an amazing dining experience at Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant & Ringside Lounge.

Concept Construction Corp has been selected as general contractor to perform major renovations in the Hamburg Central School system. Started in March at the Union Pleasant School, plans call for upgraded classrooms, music rooms, science rooms and restoration of (2) historic auditoriums. Vince Ricotta says: "We are very proud to support the arts & science education programs throughout WNY!" Estimated completion is scheduled for Q4 - 2027!

Western New York’s newest Tim Hortons Coffee & Bakery is nearing completion at the traffic circle at Harlem Rd. and Cleveland Dr. in Cheektowaga. Final touches are underway, and a Grand Opening will soon be announced.

Sometimes being in the construction industry takes you to some pretty interesting places.

Recently, one of our customers introduced me to the owners of Buffalo Film Works. Co-owners George Pittas, Jennifer O’Neil, and Kevin Callahan hosted a breakfast event for the Niagara Business Associates, of which I’m proud to be a member.

We were sitting right in the middle of their incredible Sound Stage #2, where Paramount Pictures filmed scenes from A Quiet Place Part II. This is the very space where Emily Blunt’s character navigated that unforgettable flooded basement scene as well as the entire village scene in the movie Mother Cabrini.

What an amazing facility we have right here in Buffalo, NY. It’s incredible to see how these spaces transform to create the movie magic we all enjoy on screen.
