One of my favorite things about our property has been our ability to harvest fresh fruit in the different seasons.
Tonight, we plucked a few pears from one of our trees and crafted a cobbler 🍐🍐

My dilemma: I’m undecided whether I’ll make fresh pears available for purchase, or if I’ll make preserves with them. If you have a preference, let me know!

Welcome to our little farm! After purchasing our property outside of Elton, Louisiana on Bayou Blue, we have begun to dip our toes into our dream of “living off the land” and growing our own food. We love to share our surplus with others and hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
