Meet Conner! In this clip, he talks about his qualifications as an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) technician and the training that goes into becoming a County Pest professional.

At County Pest, we believe the person treating your home should be just as important as the treatment itself. That's why we invest in hiring, licensing, and training qualified professionals rather than cutting labor costs by relying on unlicensed technicians.

Every technician participates in continuing education, expanding their certifications, knowledge, and expertise across multiple areas of pest and wildlife management.

It's how we've built a team capable of handling everything from everyday pest problems to complex wildlife exclusions and structural pest management.

One team. More expertise. A truly local one-stop shop.

⚠️ Yellow jackets nesting inside walls can become especially dangerous this time of year!

By fall, yellow jacket colonies can reach enormous sizes. As their nests expand within wall voids, they may begin chewing through drywall, potentially breaking into the living spaces of a home.

That's exactly what happened here. Carson carefully removed the damaged drywall, exposing and removing the yellow jackets and their nest.

What starts as a little activity around an exterior opening can quickly become a serious problem inside your home.

🐝 Seeing yellow jackets entering and exiting the same spot on your house? Don't seal the opening or attempt to disturb the nest. Give County Pest a call and let our professionals handle it safely.

After humanely evicting bats from a home, our work doesn't stop there. Next comes remediation—making sure the home is clean, safe, and comfortable again.

Not every situation requires a complete attic overhaul. Sometimes targeted sanitation and partial insulation removal are all that's needed. Other times, contamination or damage warrants a full removal and replacement. We evaluate each home individually and recommend only what's necessary.

From pest control and wildlife exclusion to structural repairs, sanitation, and insulation replacement, County Pest handles it all.

No juggling multiple contractors. No getting passed down the line to another company. Just one local team handling the entire process from start to finish.

Just like clockwork… after bat season comes cleanup season! 🦇

County Pest’s CleanStart Insulation Division has been busy with attic remediation projects all week!

But here’s something important: Not every wildlife situation warrants a complete insulation replacement. In fact, relatively few do. In many cases, targeted cleaning, sanitation, and spot treatments are all that’s necessary.

When a full replacement is justified, we look beyond the wildlife issue. We evaluate your home’s thermal envelope, identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, and install high-performance insulation to meet the recommended R-value for our climate zone.

Our goal isn’t to sell you a new attic. It’s to make sure your home is clean, properly insulated, and performing the way it should.

Honest recommendations. Science-based solutions. All from your local County Pest team. 🐝

One of the things Carson loves most about his job is getting to be the voice of reason when someone is dealing with a stressful pest problem.

That goes all the way back to the mission Dave built County Pest around more than 30 years ago: give people honest, science-based answers and treat them the way you’d want your own neighbor treated.

No high-pressure sales.
No scare tactics.
No trying to turn every inspection into the biggest possible job.
No locking homeowners into long-term contracts just to keep their business.

Sometimes people call us genuinely worried about what they’ve found in their home. Our job is to slow things down, figure out what’s actually happening, explain it in a way that makes sense, and give them practical options.

Friendly neighborhood advice, backed by science, in situations that can otherwise feel pretty overwhelming.

That was Dave’s philosophy when he started County Pest in 1994 — and it’s pretty cool watching the next generation of our team carry it forward.

A full-service pest control company should be able to do more than just treat the symptom.

At County Pest, we handle pest control, wildlife, exclusion repairs, insulation, and full attic remediation — all with one local team and one local office.

That means fewer handoffs, fewer outside contractors, and one company responsible for seeing the problem through from inspection to completion.

One local team. One local office. Complete solutions.

Some jobs are easy to get to… and some need a little extra help. 😎

The County Pest wildlife team was working nearly 50 feet in the air today from a boom lift to reach some of the tougher areas of this property.

Wildlife work definitely takes County Pest to new heights! 🦇🐿️
