Construction Laborer (Excavation Growth Opportunity)

Cory Elbert Contracting is looking for two general laborer construction workers to join our team, with the opportunity to grow into our excavation crew. We’re a one-stop shop, so the work stays varied; you might be doing demo one day, building the next, and learning dirt work as you go.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, shows up on time, works hard, and is willing to learn. A valid driver’s license is REQUIRED, and a CDL or construction background is a plus.

Pay depends on your skill level. If you bring experience, you’ll be compensated for it. If you’re looking to grow, we offer a clear progression schedule so your pay increases as your skills do.

Winning the Emmetsburg Chamber of Commerce Catalysts Award wasnt on his bingo card, but we are proud of Cory Elbert, he truly deserves it! Thankyou Lance for recognizing Cory’s heart!

I’m truly honored to accept this award. In a small community like ours, this means a lot.

It wasn’t until we purchased and demoed the old red schoolhouse and then later remodeled the Stanley building into our new office, that it really hit me.

The responsibility for updating and moving this community forward isn’t on our parents’ or grandparents’ backs anymore. It’s on ours.

That means it’s our turn to invest. Our turn to take risks. Our turn to preserve what matters and improve what needs improving.

At CEC, we are proud to be trusted as your builders and helping improve our community’s homes, businesses, and agricultural buildings. We take that responsibility seriously.

This business isn’t just about the next project or job. It’s about showing up when we say we will, standing behind our work, and putting our customers first.

I want to thank all my great crew members, my supportive family, and everyone in this community who has trusted us over the years. We wouldn’t be here without you.
