Last week’s storm kicked everyone’s butt — ours included. Crews worked hard, equipment got pushed, and a lot of properties needed more follow-up than expected. But almost two weeks later, parking lots, entrance and exit lanes, and parking spaces should be clear curb-to-curb and fully usable.
Driving around day to day, it’s hard not to notice how many sites still aren’t there yet.
This isn’t about looks — it’s about access, safety, and liability. Sometimes the answer is simple: clean it, stack it, relocate it, or haul it off. When the equipment or manpower isn’t there, bringing in someone who has it is the right call.
If your clients push back on what they perceive as ‘extra work,’ I can help you present a professional proposal that clearly explains why it isn’t extra—it’s the standard—and how cutting corners puts their business reputation and liability at risk.
If you or your contractor need help with clean-up operations or a better game plan for post-storm work, message or call me. We do this every winter.
