Responsibilities
The Construction Project Manager works closely with both internal and external team members as part of a cross-functional project team with responsibilities including planning, directing, and coordinating activities concerned with the construction process. Oversee project construction to monitor compliance with contract, building codes, and safety regulations • Perform project reviews to ensure that projects are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards • Provide status reports regarding project milestones, budget, deliverables, deficiencies, risks and issues • They are responsible for the coordination of all parties involved in the project from start to finish, including vendors, sub-contractors, laborers and customers. Main POC for the customer throughout the project duration • Develop, manage, and maintain up-to-date Project Timelines inclusive of all critical milestones, key interdependencies, and resource constraints, applying appropriate project scheduling techniques • Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines. Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems • Work with Project Coordinator to apply for and obtain all necessary permits or licenses•
Implement new or modified plans in response to delays, bad weather, or construction site emergencies • Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel of varying size, scope, and complexity
Position Requirements • Must have a valid driver’s license • Must have valid email address and phone number • Must pass pre-employment screening • Must have excellent communication skills. Written, oral, and face-to-face • Strong organization, leadership, negotiation, and delegation skills are required • Proven ability to develop lasting, positive customer relationships • Must be able to interact effectively and diplomatically with diverse people, both on an individual basis as well as within group situations • Have a strong work ethic
