The fan is doing its absolute best. It was never built for this fight.

Cranking a fan to full speed feels like progress until you realize it's just moving hot air around instead of actually cooling anything. Caught mid-job, doing the part nobody puts in a portfolio. Good, because this is exactly what we want you to see.

Insulation crushed down to a sad little pancake of its former self. Pest infestations we're not going to get into right now, for your sake. Moldy batts that checked out a long time ago. Debris some roofing crew left behind and quietly hoped nobody would notice. Whatever's up there, we don't insulate over it and call it a day. We take it all out first.

Every gap in your home's air sealing is basically an open door with a "pollutants welcome" sign on it.

Air sealing and spray foam insulation close off the entry points that let outdoor dust, allergens, and pollution drift indoors along with the drafts you can actually feel. Seal those up, and what's left circulating through your home is noticeably cleaner air, not just a more consistent temperature.

False, and this is one of the more common assumptions we run into.

A newer build date tells you when the house went up. It doesn't guarantee the insulation was installed perfectly, that nothing's settled since, or that "meets code" translates to "actually optimal" for your comfort and energy bills. Plenty of newer homes have gaps, weak spots, or insulation that's simply not doing enough, quietly costing homeowners money they assume they're not losing.

The only way to know for sure is an evaluation, not an assumption based on age.

Swipe through. Same room, before and after we got involved.

That wall of windows is quality, which means great insulation properties. But the actual walls aren't going to keep us their end of the bargain without some help. The second photo is that same space with spray foam insulation installed, sealed up properly so that view is what you're thinking about when you're sitting in that room - not why isn't the AC working?

With an El Niño winter on the way, that spray foam insulation matters more than usual. These homeowners are set up to stay warm and comfortable all season, wall of windows included, while homes without proper insulation are going to feel every bit of what's coming.
