Yep! Sounds about right!!

NEW RECORD ALERT: 2026 has been the wettest May on record with more than 10 inches of rain during the month. The previous record was 9 inches 21 years ago.

The record will be further extended as it doesn't include any rain after 4 PM today

😳 WOW!

**4.6 billion gallons of water.**

That’s the peak of how much floodwater was temporarily stored in the Miami Conservancy District flood protection system during this latest high water event.

It’s hard to picture a number that big—and most of us never will.

But during heavy rain, that water has to go somewhere.

This week, the flood protection system held it back while rivers moved through communities across Southwest Ohio.

A massive amount of water—quietly moving through the watershed.

🌧️ Well, well, well…

Look what January started for us. 😅

If it feels like your lawn has gotten more water than your houseplants this year… you’re not wrong.

After a dry start to the year, Mother Nature apparently decided to make up for lost time. March and May have been putting up some BIG numbers, and honestly, we’re all just trying to survive Ohio’s identity crisis. ☔️

We’re watching the weather closely and doing everything we can to keep schedules moving while protecting your lawns from damage.

🌧️ “Why didn’t Sower’s mow today?”

Trust us… we want to mow. 😅

But after heavy rain, mowing too soon can actually do more harm than good:
❌ Tire ruts
❌ Torn-up grass
❌ Soil compaction
❌ Clumpy messes

Sometimes waiting an extra day means protecting your lawn for the long haul — even when the schedule gets a little crazy.
