One of the best skills a Technician can have is the art of listening to what your customer is telling you. In this case, the furnace always runs. Never really shuts off. Air conditioner leaks water and soaks the carpet in the summer. Had another company add refrigerant because they were told it was low. This was an automatic trigger for me to check the coil. Not an easy one to clean but after the cleaning and to hear my customer tell me I can’t remember the last time I felt heat like that. So I will be going back in May to more than likely remove the refrigerant that probably was not needed. Service starts with effective communication. Another system saved from the scrap yard.

For the first time all winter in Ohio, we’re outside like we just got released on good behavior.
Coffee on the porch. Windows cracked. Saying things like “honestly… this isn’t that bad.”
Snow is melting, moods are improving, and we’re emotionally attached to 50°.
Which of course means by Sunday night the sky will remember where we live and throw snow, wind, rain, and maybe a random tornado warning just for balance.
