Each year, Fransen Pittman welcomes interns from across the country to gain hands-on experience, develop industry skills, and contribute to our project teams. For 2026, we are honored to host our largest group yet!

This summer, 20 interns from across Texas, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, and Colorado are gaining real-world, hands-on experience on FP’s active construction projects. We are proud of the energy and fresh perspectives they bring to our teams, and we look forward to supporting their continued growth in the construction industry.

Concrete is going down at the Stormwater Addition Facility—laying the foundation for a stronger, smarter space supporting the crews who keep our community running. This ~15,000 SF facility will bring new storage, workspace, and offices to power critical stormwater operations for years to come.

Today, we celebrate the life of Troy Anderson, a valued member of our team for 16 years.

Throughout his time with the company, Troy exemplified dedication, reliability, and professionalism. He took great pride in his work and consistently went above and beyond, earning respect and appreciation across the organization. His positive attitude and willingness to support others made him an integral part of our team and culture.

Troy’s craftsmanship and commitment can be seen in the many projects he contributed to over the years, including the Colorado State Capitol Historic Roof Restoration, work that reflects the pride and care he brought to his craft every day.

Troy was also part of a legacy within our company, working alongside his father, Steve, who many of you also know from his time here. Together, they represent the kind of dedication and connection that defines our workplace.

Our thoughts are with his wife, Rachel, his daughter, Amelia, and the entire Anderson family during this difficult time. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

🚧 Groundbreaking Underway at Skyline Park — A New Era for Downtown Denver! 🌆

We’re thrilled to celebrate the official groundbreaking and start of construction for Phase 1 of the Skyline Park revitalization — a transformative project for the City and County of Denver! Located across three city blocks on Arapahoe Street adjacent to the 16th Street Mall, Skyline Park has been a beloved part of Downtown since its original construction in 1974, designed by renowned modernist landscape architect Lawrence Halprin.

With nearly 100 community members, city leaders, and partners in attendance, today’s ceremony marks the beginning of a bold reinvestment in Denver’s public spaces as part of a multi-phased vision to bring everyday life, culture, and connection back to the heart of our city.

🔨 Phase 1 Scope Includes:

🌟 Installation of a splash pad and ice skating ribbon for dynamic, year-round experiences

🏙️ Small support buildings, stone and concrete paving, and enhanced landscaping

🗿 Rehabilitation of the historic Lawrence Halprin sculpture

♿ Improvements to meet ADA accessibility standards and raising the park to sidewalk level for seamless access

…and more to make this downtown destination welcoming for residents, workers, and visitors alike.

This project is part of Denver’s broader effort to reinvigorate public space and catalyze downtown activity and is projected to evolve over the coming years with Phase 1 substantial completion anticipated by Summer 2027. A huge thank you to the City and County of Denver, RIOS (design), Fransen Pittman and project partners, and the community for making this milestone possible.

Grab your shovels! 🪏 Fransen Pittman is thrilled to break ground on Douglas County School District’s new Elementary School 50. The 75,000 SF facility is being constructed in the Lyric at RidgeGate community, providing a new neighborhood school for students in grades PK-6. The school will officially open in August of 2027.

Thanks to our project partners: Douglas County School District, Wember and Treanor Design. Now, the fun begins!! 🏗️ 🚧

The North Wing comes down and the next chapter begins at St. John Paul the Great Catholic High School! 🚧

The demolition clears the way for a 42,000‑SF new addition featuring a collegiate‑style gymnasium, science labs, arts & music spaces, additional classrooms, and a grand lobby with a skywalk connection—a transformative leap for the SJPG community.

We’re proud that Fransen Pittman + MOA ARCHITECTURE helped pave the path through previous phases:
- Phase 1: Transformed a building vacant for over 15 years into a functional high school for the inaugural freshman class, designed with future growth in mind.
- Phase 2: Expanded the campus with new classrooms, a commons and auditorium, administrative spaces, a kitchen and serving area, and a chapel.
