We are looking to fill SUBCONTRACTED positions - Both ENTRY LEVEL and SEASONED Techs needed.

Tahoe Maintenance is an extremely busy Full Service Property Maintenance Company based out of Englewood - Serving Denver Metro and the surrounding areas.

REQUIREMENTS:
- All technicians are expected to have their own tools and work vehicle; preferably a truck or van. (Entry level positions flexible regarding tools)
- Technicians will also need to carry current general liability insurance and have a registered business name through the Colorado Secretary of State.

We can guide through creating and registering a business name / obtaining general liability insurance to get you started.

Remove icicles and ice dams

When it snows and your gutters fill with meltwater, they’re going to run over. As the water runs over, it freezes and creates icicles. Your interior heat will melt the snow from further up your roof and supply the ice dam this creates with even more fuel, eventually creating a heavy block of ice all around your guttering.

Icicles can tear off your gutters, rip your shingles, and cause serious harm to anyone unlucky enough to get caught underneath them as they fall.
In the long-term, if you’re getting ice dams, you need to see it as a problem with your home’s insulation. If your heating reaches the top of the roof and starts melting snow, it’s time to get better insulation.
Short term, you just need a way to smash them off the side of your roof without causing any further damage. Its recommended to use a roof rake.

Home Care Tip of the Week

Clean your chimneys yearly

If you’re lucky enough to have a home with a wood-burning fireplace — don’t let it become a danger.
A buildup of dirt, birds nests or objects ending up in your chimney can easily catch fire and burn your house down.

Not to mention, a chimney that doesn’t efficiently air the house out can cause a build-up of smoke or deadly carbon monoxide.

Don’t try and do this yourself. Instead, hire a chimney sweep. They can inspect your chimney and tell you if it even needs to be cleaned. Better safe than sorry.

Home Care Tip

Clean your dryer vents and avoid a house fire

Every time you use your dryer, you’re adding a little bit of lint to the vent. This means the dryer is less efficient at cooling down, and will take longer to dry your clothes. But it also turns dryers into fire hazards.
Remove the vent at the back of the dryer, and vacuum the area. Alternatively, use a cleaning kit like this to make sure you’re maintaining this vital part of your home.
