Job description
The Service Dispatcher supports daily operations by dispatching technicians, monitoring work progress, handling customer requests, and effectively scheduling appointments. They help ensure appropriate utilization of technicians and company assets. Other duties include effective communication, addressing customer questions, and other day to day activities. The goal is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to manager & customer inquiries as well as maintain high customer satisfaction. The successful candidate for this position needs to be able to adjust to last minute changes, work in a fast pace environment, multi-task and be an independent thinker. The dispatcher works closely with the operations manager and reports directly to the accounting director.

Essential Functions:
• Ensure maximum productivity by achieving or exceeding Company-established goals by successfully completing all aspects of job requirements.
• Effective management of technicians work calendars.
• Successfully setup customer appointments by utilizing the New Electric sales and advertising process and pipelines.
• Answer phone ensuring customer and internal team satisfaction.
• Daily debriefs with technicians after each job ensuring all information is property submitted in each relevant system.
• Data entry of invoices, application of payments and other activity into accounting system. Completion of monthly bank reconciliations.
• Accounts Receivable follow-up with customers to ensure timely payment and receipt of cash.
• Assign jobs to drivers based on skill set and location of technicians.
• Courteously interact with customers, as required.
• Report technician performance issues or concerns to appropriate management for resolution.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings, weekends and holidays
· Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations
· Basic understanding of Microsoft office suite including word, excel and email.
· Valid Drivers license

Education, Training, Experience and Licensing/Certification Requirements:
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Years of Experience: One year of prior dispatching experience

Job Type: Full-time. 8 – 5 Monday through Friday Weekends and overtime possible
Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
