Another transformation complete in Castle Rock 🏠

Our team at BRG Builds completed a full exterior paint and reroof project to give this home both a refreshed look and long-lasting protection. Swipe to see the finished product!

For this reroof, we upgraded the homeowner to a higher quality shingle by installing Owens Corning Class IV Impact-Resistant shingles in the color Driftwood. These shingles combine durability and storm protection.

Hail just hit your home? Here are 3 smart steps to take right away ⛈️

1️⃣ Stay inside until the storm passes
Your safety comes first. Large hail can cause serious injury and falling debris is common during storms. Avoid the urge to step outside while it’s still active even if you want to document it. It’s not safe!

2️⃣ Document the storm once it’s safe 📸
Take photos or short video of hail on the ground, rooftops, decks, vehicles, or landscaping. Time-stamped images taken at your property can be helpful if damage is discovered later.

3️⃣ Capture the hail size before it melts 🧊
If possible, place several hailstones next to something with a known size (think coin, golf ball, or tape measure) and take a clear photo. This helps establish storm severity if you need to reference it during an insurance claim.

Even if everything looks fine afterward, keeping a quick record of the storm can make a big difference later. No damage is always the goal, but documentation protects you if issues show up down the road.
