Ten years ago, it all started with a vision.

As a grateful Colorado transplant, avid 14er enthusiast, and recent graduate of the University of Colorado Denver's Master of Landscape Architecture program, Ben Brehmer took a leap of faith and started True Grit Landscapes.

His goal was simple: build a landscaping company founded on honesty, hard work, creative design, and genuine relationships. Ben believes the best outdoor spaces bring people and nature together, and that every project deserves thoughtful communication, quality craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

Over the past 10 years, it has been an honor to transform outdoor spaces for homeowners throughout the Denver Metro area—one landscape at a time.

Check out one of our True Grit Transformations from the 2026 season!
The rock bed in this parking lot had gotten out of control with weeds and debris, becoming an eyesore. We were able to salvage much of the rock for our client, remove the weeds and waste material, rerun the irrigation lines, lay new landscaping fabric and bring in fresh mulch to give this space new life. At True Grit, we take pride in doing projects the right way.
