🌱 The Story Behind Mammoth Outdoor Services 🌱
A lot of people see the mower, the stripes, the equipment, and the business name… but not many know the story behind it.
When I was 5 years old, my dad taught me how to bale hay, w**d whack, and run a leaf blower. Ever since then, I fell in love with outdoor work. I loved being outside, working hard, and seeing the transformation when a property was cleaned up and maintained properly.
I took landscaping at vo-tech my freshman year and earned my landscaping certificate because I knew this was the field I wanted to be in.
In 2017, I broke both of my legs and had them reconstructed. Even after that, I still chased this industry. I worked for multiple companies around Erie and was told more than once that I “couldn’t handle it” or “couldn’t hack it.” One company even fired me after I walked 3 hours to work and still worked 9-hour shifts.
But I never gave up.
I worked with another landscaper for 3 years before things eventually fell apart after months of not being paid. That was the moment I finally decided:
I’m building my own business.
On Thanksgiving Eve, before a major snowstorm, I bought a snowblower because Erie was expecting several feet of snow. The next day I cleared around 50 houses in just a few hours. One customer told me:
“You plow through snow like a Mammoth.”
That’s where the name Mammoth Outdoor Services was born 🦣
Now every yard I mow, every stripe I lay down, every cleanup, every late night, and every early morning means something to me. This business is built on hard work, passion, and proving that being doubted doesn’t define who you become.
I genuinely love this field of work.
I love being outside.
I love making properties stand out.
I love seeing a yard transformed.
And I’m only getting started.
Thank you to everyone supporting Mammoth Outdoor Services so far. It truly means more than you know 💪🌱
