A landscaping business owner called me this week. $1.08 million in revenue.

Solid crews. Good reputation. He told me business was fine. Then I asked him when he last updated his equipment rates and truck costs in his bids. He went quiet. Said a couple years ago.

His fuel costs are up. His insurance is up. His labor is up. His bids? Still priced like it's 2022. He's not struggling because he's bad at what he does.

He's struggling because he never told his prices to keep up with the world, and every job he closes is quietly costing him more than he thinks.

Yet ppl dont understand cost went up over time... not something new!
