📺 A NEW SCP TV COMMERCIAL IS IN THE WORKS!

The next Sam Catania Painting TV commercial is officially in the works!

Last night, my friends from FOX 66 and JET 24 joined us in the SCP Lounge for some drinks, great conversation, and a casual meeting about what we're going to create next.

I write most of our TV commercials, and then we join forces and turn the idea into one crazy creation.

Anyone who knows our commercials knows we like to have fun with them. I absolutely love doing the crazy stunts that have become part of the SCP commercials since 2016! 🎬

No conference room. No boardroom table. Just friends sitting around the SCP Lounge throwing around ideas and figuring out how we're going to bring the next one to life.

Over the years, our commercials have become a big part of the SCP brand, and we've never been afraid to do things a little differently.

This next one will definitely continue that tradition.

COMPETITION DOESN’T HAVE TO MEAN ENEMIES. 🤝🎨

I’ve always believed there’s enough work out there for good painting contractors to succeed without tearing each other down.

This past weekend, another local painting contractor stopped by the Sam Catania Painting office and spent about an hour hanging out with me in the lounge. We talked business, the painting industry, employees, jobs and probably a little bit of everything else.

At the end of the day, we may compete for some of the same work, but that doesn’t mean we can’t respect each other, learn from each other and get along.

I try to have a good relationship with as many of my competitors as possible. We’re all out here trying to run businesses, take care of our employees and families, and make a living doing what we do.

Competition is healthy. Respect is even better.

One of the things I envisioned when we moved into our new location was making it more than just an office for Sam Catania Painting. I wanted it to be a place where relationships within our industry could be built too.

So this is something you’re going to see more of.

From time to time, I’ll be inviting another local painting contractor over—one competitor at a time—to sit down in the lounge, talk shop, exchange ideas and simply get to know each other better.

I think our entire industry becomes stronger when the people competing against each other can still shake hands, share a conversation and genuinely want to see each other succeed.

There’s room in the SCP Lounge for all of us. 🎨🤝

Now we’ll see whose van is parked next to ours next.

20 Years Today.

Today marks 20 years since the start of this chapter of Sam Catania Painting, and I just want to take a moment to say thank you.

This past week has been a big one for us — we officially took over our new property and have already made some great progress getting things underway. There’s still a lot of work ahead and we’ll be under construction for a while, but it’s exciting to see it all coming together.

None of this would be possible without the incredible team, customers, family, and supporters who have been part of the journey over the years. We’re truly grateful for the trust and support we’ve received from this community.

We’re just getting started on this next chapter.

20 Years, A New Property, and an Exciting New Chapter

This week marks a huge milestone for Sam Catania Painting with the purchase of a new property for our operations, while also celebrating a major anniversary for the company.

First and foremost, we want to recognize the incredible team of painters, staff, customers, and supporters who have made our success possible. A business like this is never built by one person, and we’re truly grateful for the hardworking people who represent our company every day.

Our family painting business was originally founded in 1963, and that legacy continues today. In 2006, the company began its second generation of ownership, and this year marks 20 years of that chapter.

Saturday, March 21st marks the official 20-year anniversary, and it happens to fall during the same week we’ve taken ownership of the new property — making this moment even more meaningful as we begin the next chapter.

We’re also excited to share that Off Road Tackle Box, the full-service inspection garage co-owned by Sam Catania and his business partners, will be moving into the same location to operate alongside Sam Catania Painting. Having both businesses together will allow us to better serve the community in one convenient location.
