We removed all plants except the rhododendron and two hydrangeas. Removed the wood that was screwed to the block to cover the mortar and block issues. Replaced broken block, grinded old joints and then parged and painted the porch. Built up the grade of the flower beds. Installed new plants and transplanted the rhododendron and two hydrangeas. Installed metal edging and landscape stone.
