A fresh driveway makeover from this week.

We started by reconditioning the existing driveway with the Harley rake, eliminating potholes, smoothing out rough spots, and pulling the stone back into place where it belonged. The Harley rake also allowed us to establish clean, defined edges and restore the overall shape of the driveway.

Once the base was reworked, we applied a fresh layer of 2B limestone to give it a clean finish and improve the driving surface.

It’s always satisfying to take a driveway that’s become rough and uneven over time and bring it back to life. The before and after difference on this one was pretty impressive.

Brush hogging season is in full swing! 🌱🚜

Tall grass, overgrown fields, and neglected areas can quickly get out of hand this time of year. Whether you’re cleaning up a property, reclaiming pasture ground, maintaining trails, or just getting things looking neat again, we’re here to help.

This field was due for a good mowing, and our Bobcat and diamond brush cutter made quick work of it. There’s nothing quite like seeing a tall, overgrown area transformed into a clean, maintained field.

Another beautiful fence project completed by Acker’s Acres Land Service!

This project included over 2,000 feet Horsecote white coated high-tensile horse fencing designed specifically for equine safety, visibility, and long-term durability. 4 strand total, 2 Electrified strands. The clean appearance of coated wire not only enhances the look of the property but also provides a strong, low-maintenance fencing solution for horse owners.

We’d like to officially welcome Eugene Yochim to the Acker’s Acres Land Service team as our newest full-time employee!

Eugene has been a great addition to the crew and has already been helping us tackle projects across the area. In this video, he’s operating our Bobcat T64 paired with our Diamond brush cutter, clearing a fence line and getting it ready for new fence installation.

Having the right equipment is important, but having dependable people behind the controls is what really makes the difference. We’re excited to have Eugene on board as we continue to grow and serve our customers throughout the region.

Big shoutout to my buddy Brett Lojek for helping us knock out a few projects on his days off and helping us get caught back up on the schedule while we are working on Fencing.

Over the last few days we were able to complete:
• Culvert installation
• Ditch cleanout work
• New pad build
• Yard repair/grading where we fixed deep ruts and cleaned everything back up

Really appreciate the extra help and hard work. It means a lot when people are willing to give up their free time to help keep things moving. We’ve been extremely busy lately, and having dependable people around makes all the difference.

Grateful for all of our customers’ patience while we work through the schedule — and grateful for good friends willing to jump in and help get the job done right.

At this point I’m starting to wonder why Bobcat isn’t sponsoring this fence job 😂

We’ve got our Bobcat skid steer and Montana post driver on site… plus the landowner’s Bobcat skid steer and Bobcat excavator all lined up together. Pretty sure there’s more Bobcat equipment here than horses right now 🐴🤣

Just another day building hotcote horse fence with a whole fleet of machines keeping things moving. Appreciate all the good equipment making these projects possible. 💪

Another day putting the Montana 1000E to work behind our Bobcat T64.

A lot of people think pounding posts is just driving them into the ground — but getting a straight, solid fence line takes the right equipment, attention to detail, and patience.

We keep the flat cup on our Montana post driver to help protect the tops of the posts and reduce splitting. With the hydraulic tilt feature, we can adjust the driver front-to-back and side-to-side to make sure it sits perfectly flush on every post before pounding.

While setting posts, we use levels, tape measures, and even our chain as a plumb bob and measuring reference to keep everything lined up straight and consistent from start to finish.

The Montana 1000E paired with our T64 has been an awesome setup for building quality fence efficiently while still focusing on the details that matter.

Whether it’s agricultural fencing, horse fencing, or property improvements, we take pride in doing it right.

Another fencing project wrapped up by Acker’s Acres Land Service. 💪

This project included installing roughly 400 feet of new high tensile fencing across a creek crossing, adding two new gates on the fresh fence line, installing three additional gates into the customer’s existing fence system, building a custom horse tie post setup, clearing the existing fence line of brush and saplings, and repairing the existing fence.

Projects like this take a lot of planning and attention to detail, especially when working through uneven terrain and creek areas, but everything came together great and turned out clean and functional for the customer and their animals.

We truly appreciate the opportunity to help improve this property and earn another happy customer. Thank you again for the business and trust in Acker’s Acres Land Service.

We just wrapped up a fencing project down in Slippery Rock at Storm Harbor Equestrian Center at Slippery Rock University.

This one was a full property upgrade. We installed new fence sections using Finishline wire with a single strand of electric, and went through the entire facility making repairs and improvements along the way. That included replacing and resetting posts, rebuilding sections of fence, repairing H-bracing at gates, swapping out gates, and tracking down and fixing electrical issues throughout the property.

Overall, this was a complete fence overhaul to get everything back into solid, working condition.

It was an absolute honor to work on such a beautiful facility. We truly appreciate the opportunity and their trust in us to take this project on. We hope everything turned out exactly how they envisioned it.

Also threw in a picture of our new post driver. With all the fence projects we have lined up this year, it was time for an upgrade. The Montana 1000E post driver!
