Erickson-Hall in partnership with the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District, completed renovations to the Early Elementary building, library and courtyard at Grant Elementary School. The project reflects a shared dedication to fostering a supportive, motivating environment where students can achieve their full potential.

The renovation focused on modernizing Grant Elementary’s existing school facilities. New work includes a 4,000-square-foot renovation of an existing one-story classroom building, with three new Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) and Transitional Kindergarten (TK) classrooms. Additional improvements including renovated restrooms, workrooms, storage spaces and an outdoor play yard were among the additional improvements and upgrades.

Two key upgrades are a reimagined library designed for 21st-century learning, and a revitalized historic courtyard to honor Grant Elementary’s legacy. To ensure continued learning, Erickson-Hall installed a temporary portable library while the additional renovations progressed.

These dynamic spaces represent Erickson-Hall and Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District’s focus on delivering strong educational environments for young students.

Topping out at Arcadia High School! 🏗️

Last week, the Erickson-Hall team joined Arcadia Unified School District and tBP Architecture to celebrate a major milestone: topping out on the school’s new Building H and Performing Arts Center Annex.

Replacing 14 portable classrooms, the new two-story, 14,700 SF Building H will give students hands-on spaces to create and innovate, including ceramics, robotics, engineering, food science, and art labs, plus an outdoor ceramics yard.

Next door, the 5,900 SF Performing Arts Center Annex adds a dedicated scene shop, costume shop, and storage to support the school’s growing arts program.

Site improvements include a new parking lot with solar panels, along with upgraded drainage and hardscape.

The project is on track for completion in July 2027. Congratulations to the entire project team on reaching this milestone! 👏

Erickson-Hall, in partnership with Lowell Joint School District, celebrated the topping out ceremony of transformative campus upgrades at Rancho Starbuck Intermediate School. Delivered via Lease-Leaseback, the major expansion features a multi-use Performing Arts Center and Gymnasium Building, modular classroom buildings and associated site work.

The new Performing Arts Center and Gymnasium Building offers Rancho Starbuck students a dedicated space to gather, compete and perform. By bringing campus events, athletic competitions and artistic showcases under one roof, the modern facility gives students a tailored environment to explore their talents and enrich their intermediate school experience.

To better connect the campus, the project includes associated site work upgrades throughout the property. The scope’s new modular classroom buildings were designed to expand flexible, modern learning spaces,supporting students' learning and success.

We are thrilled to partner with the Lowell Joint School District to deliver a top-tier learning environment for the Whittier community. Each project milestone we accomplish for Rancho Starbuck Intermediate School strengthens our investment in the future of students.

A great day on the green for a great cause!

This past Saturday, our team had the opportunity to participate in the Swinging for Scholarships Golf Tournament at Yucaipa Golf Club.

David Irwin, Rudy Rodriguez, David Swenson, and Rudy Mendoza represented Erickson-Hall for a day of golf, connection, and supporting scholarships for our community.

Erickson-Hall Completes Major Modernization at Lincoln Middle School

Erickson-Hall in partnership with the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District, has completed the modernization of the Legacy Building at Lincoln Middle School. Delivered under a lease-leaseback contract, the project included renovation of the 16,000-square-foot classroom building, nine classroom renovations, office conversions, HVAC, exterior finishes and surrounding site improvements at the school.

This fall, students returned to the Legacy Building and are now using nine new math, science and general education classrooms, covered outdoor learning areas and flexible learning spaces to support modern teaching practices. The renovated facility serves as the dedicated 8th-grade hub, built to support collaboration, creativity and modernized learning.

The Legacy Building’s transformation is complete with a cutting-edge innovation lab for STEM projects and a new mini amphitheater for outdoor activities. The exterior also features a new main entrance visible from 14th Street.

We are honored to have delivered this revitalization for the Malibu Unified School District. This completed project represents our commitment to building facilities that give students the space to succeed. We look forward to seeing these spaces serve the community for years to come.
